All this is a consequence of the changed concept of faith.
While faith previously meant subordinating reason to the revealed objective divine truth,
today faith means the absolutely irrational, which is a subjective and communal experience. In the past, the rationality of natural was ensured by the supernatural. Today, the validity of the concept of faith understood as irrationality and its irrational content of faith is not given by its objectivity, since here irrationality means precisely that it is not real, but rather that it is the community of subjects that makes the unreal real and valid. This is why the sacrifice was replaced by the feast, the common meal, the Canon Missae by Institutio Narrationis, and this is why in the NOM amen must be said at the communion, as a creative expression of the subjective content of faith.
"We were once warned by Saint Pius X: the modernists do not destroy doctrine, they reinterpret it." - Hiraeth in Exile
I somehow stumbled upon working in a Congregational Church. Pope Bob, though definitely overdressed, would find his People there. And I can confirm that from working there, they are the most hospitable people I have ever met.
Very much like Leo XIV.
The Congregationalists accept others as they are, or wish to be and accompany them on a personal journey with Jesus, whatever it is.
And that works for them, but as a Catholic, it doesn't work for me. I seek Him, who is the Way, the Truth and the Life in and through the Eucharist, Body, Soul & Divinity. I am confessional to a priest.
I don't pick and choose what I like and don't like from scripture or the catechism.
When I interviewed for the p/t job, I thought I would find push back in regards to my Catholicism. I came right out and said, "I just want to let you know, I'm a practicing Catholic." My interviewer laughed very charmingly, and said, "Oh, we don't care about that anymore."
If we want things to change, we may may want to look at the elephant in the room. Prevost’s election may have been invalid because the cardinals violated Pope JPII papal law on elections Universi Dominici Gregis by having 133 cardinals voting when the maximum allowed is 120 and also because they elected a candidate who had made statements against catholic doctrine (Fiducia Supplicans, Amoris Laetitia etc), contrary to Pope Paul IV’s Bull Cum ex Apostolatus Oficio. Because that a man is pope is not a presumption of fact but a conclusion of the law, and the law was not followed in the election of May 8th, 2025. Jesus himself confirms the juridical nature of the Church when he tells St Peter in Matthew 18:18 “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heave, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heave.”
Since the cardinals failed in their duty to elect a Catholic pope, according to the Pope Nicolas II’s Bull In Nome Domine, in cases where the election is not pure, sincere and free, the faithful of Rome have the right to assemble and elect a Catholic pope.
Your comment is spot on. I might add not may have been invalid, but certainly was. The cardinals have exhibited sloth, a sin against justice, a) in failing to challenge Benedict XVI in his faux papal resignation ( ministerio against munus), thereby acceding to a faux conclave which elected antipope Bergoglio, b) in failing to call a conclave upon the death of BXVI, and egregiously allowing the globalist Francis elected cardinals to virtue signal to their freemasonic overlords in allowing the 133 ( 66+ 1 + 66 ) cardinals to vote in conclave. According to Universi Domenici Gregis, this violation alone renders the election irritus. Hence we have a usurper on the throne. This wolf in sheeps clothing has tradinc blogosphere and priestly societies kissing the ring of this monster. The shameful actions of the cardinals calls for the faithful of Rome to elect a new pope as pertained for the first millennia and allowed for in Pope Nicholas II’s Bull In Nominé Domine. We live in perilous times fr the Church, we need a true and holy pope on the See of Peter. Se ain’t so Peter and Paul, pray for us and the Church of Christ
Pope Provost has unpacked a lot in the last few days. And at the risk of sounding like a dissenter, a lot of truth dwells in what he says. The schism of 1054 was more political than theological, and was a team effort. The Roman Church, of course, helped the cause by elevating the Barbarian Charlemagne to a Papa; Creation- the "Holy Roman Empire". God passed swift Judgment on the Carolingians, swiftly dividing it into three camps which would be played against each other and the Papacy for centuries by the Banksters of Genoa, Pisa, and Venice for centuries, until World War One saw the destruction of the Prussian, Austrian, and French Dynasties. (Well, that is a vast oversimplification, but people should get the point.)
The Orthodox Church fared no better, for their part being finally overrun by the Pederasts- er, Sons- of Mohammed (who was a student of the Kabbalah but I digress) and having their center transferred to Russia where the hierarchy became the victims of the Caesaro-Papism of the Czars. (One of the "Errors of Russia" bewailed by Our Lady of Fatima, the other being Schism from the Holy Unity of the Chair of Peter, but, again, I digress.)
If Vatican II had any Silver Lining whatsoever, it was that the Triumphalist, Imperial Medieval Church was finally forced to look in the Proverbial Mirror, and acknowledge its sins. Contrary to the Piuses, Louis XVI, for example, was not a Most Catholic King and truly deserved what he got. He was about as much a victim as Caligula.
That, of course, is to take nothing away from this excellent article, which points out that Rome is no longer the Church of Truth- however impaired it might have been in days gone by- but rather the Church of Accompanyment. Where we are heading, of course, is the Reign of the Antichrist, and if people cannot see that handwriting clearly on the wall in a world full of creeping tyranny, dumbphones, social "credit", and Central Bank DIgital Currencies-, well, God help them, because this Wolf cannot.
Our Lady of Fatima of course has the only solution- the Collegial Consecration of Russia by the APostolic College and excommunication for those bishops that fail to comply in the exercise of the Full and Sovereign Authority of the Successor of Peter of Holy Mother Church. And if some of the Orthodox Bishops wish to comply, so much the better.
"Whereas Francis broke things in public, Leo sweeps the shards into a mosaic of “communion,” binding the fragments together not with truth, but with sentimentality."
This is the thing. Reminds of Obama appropriating Reagan. Distinctives do not matter, only the grand narrative.
I’ve often wondered what would have happened if Vatican II had focused on turning East rather than toward Protestantism and secularization. Imagine a devout married priesthood, bishops who really are monks, flourishing contemplative monastics, renewed veneration for the beauty of icons, a liturgy based on total reverence for our Lord’s body and blood in the Eucharist, a shared history of 2,000 years of glorious saints with our Holy Theotokos as the champion leader, and knowing that we hold the ancient Apostolic Faith in Christ our God and the Holy Trinity, one in essence and undivided. May God grant it!
'Contradiction is staggering.' It is snake-speech.
Prevost's religion is found in the writings of the WCC, not the Catholic Church. For Prevost St Peter and St Paul and any true martyrs are just currency to expolit.
You see the problem well.

They may not, but as I have seen, some still do.
I've run into it, too. And besides, it's always underneath.

Your insights are profound yet simple and clear.
I pray you continue your good work and that the Holy Spirit guide you always.
Gaslighting indeed.

Bergoglio’s role & influence, direct or indirectly is evidently not over
I have been keeping a personal scoresheet on the topic "Is the former Robert Prevost now Francis II or Leo XIV?" So far I make it Francis 29, Leo 6.
