I have argued incessantly with Fr Imbarrato and find him very uninformed with true catholic teaching. He has a fixation on the pope and thinks he is infallible every time he opens his mouth.He doesn't understand the faith and the pope are two different things aND THE POPE MUST PROTECT THE FAITH not make the faith. He has not been catholic long! This is why men should not be priest un less they have been catholic at least 20yrs.
I don’t think it is a time element that counts. I know a convert who has been a Catholic for less than 2 years, who i believe would make a fabulous priest. They need to know the faith, believe the faith and have a genuine love for the Bride of Christ that they are called to defend. I know plenty of men who have been Catholics for 20 years who could never fit that bill.

Narcissists always insist your complaints about them are because of your attitude. This has become the common reaction to justifiable concerns about the synodal church.
We need to treat them as the narcissists they are and stop justifying ourselves. No more trying to explain we're not divisive. No more trying prove the names they call us aren't true. I sincerely believe the good Lord has thrown down the gauntlet at Trad Inc with the cancellation of the TLM here in Charlotte, NC. We lived in a world of our own mixed beliefs about being a traditional Catholic. My heart and soul is in but, my instincts were always confused that there was no uniformity or rather one clear concise teaching on matters of the church. This is further compounded by the OCIA not allowing any discussion or introduction to the TLM. I sponsored one woman but, now my heart is not in it. She recently said she loved the Buddhist Monks Peace Walk thru Charlotte. “Anything for Peace”, she said. I’m mortified. OCIA literally has a waiting list to get into class. The thought of basic catechism and then let them “figure it out later” or “God would lead them”, frankly terrified me. I begrudgingly sponsored a last minute young lady that could not find a sponsor only to find out it was for her quinceañera. They never returned to church. It scars me. Nothing surprises me these days. I believe the Good Lord has a rude awakening for all of Trad Inc. 🙏

In 2023 he pled guilty and was sentenced to 6 years in prison. So there is a surprising lesson -- he was not above the law. Imagine how the men in the current hierarchy must look at that. It seems to be life and death to them that they never have a believing hierarchy over themselves; never one that will fail to spend money (I suppose) on the best lawyers. So it must make sense to try to eliminate the sources of a believing hierarchy. I'm not being original, I know, but thanks for your work which helps clarify lay people's grasp.
