« Thousands of voices ring into your ears a Gospel which has not been revealed by the Father of Heaven. Thousands of pens are wielded in the service of a Christianity, which is not of Christ. [...]

Today, as We see you threatened with new dangers and new molestations, We say to you: If any one should preach to you a Gospel other than the one you received on the knees of a pious mother, from the lips of a believing father, or through teaching faithful to God and His Church, "let him be anathema" (Gal. i. 9). »

His Holiness Pope Pius XI,

Nobody has been canonized. Pope Leo was simply indulging in the usual papal rhetoric with a polite and charitable reference to his immediate predecessor. Did you really want or expect him to solemnly declare for the edification of the faithful that Pope Francis is roasting in hell for all eternity?

The explanation of The Sower Parable is safely orthodox.

God's grace falls like rain on the good and bad alike without discrimination. However the capacity to receive these graces depends on the receiver.

Ex opere operato demands it - the Eucharist is received to bring sanctification or judgement in accord with the worthiness of the receiver.

We should be patient and prayerful and see what comes from Leo. Let's give him enough rope and see whether he uses it to hang himself or to make a whip of cords and clean out the Church.

This is not the time for imprudent haste. It's not like we can fix anything anyway, right? So let all this unfold itself for what it really is. If he is Francis II, sadly he will eventually prove it himself only too clearly.

There is no need for a rush to judgment.

Do you accept that Leo is indeed the Pope?

He shouldn't. Like Francis, Leo XIV obviously isn't an actual Catholic. His religion is the new religion of Vatican II. Thus he can't possibly be an actual pope. One cannot be the visible head of a body of which one is not a member.

But if he embraces the "recognize and resist" position, like the SSPX, then it's clear that he rejects the dogma of indefectibility. He describes an entity that has been overcome by hell. Thus, if one were to get really real, one must say that it isn't the actual Catholic Church he's talking about, but is instead a diabolical counterfeit leading countless millions of souls to everlasting hell.

This is the stark reality of this the Great Apostasy, upon us since the Judas Council of Vatican II. The actual Catholic Church is in the catacombs once again.

Dunno, I figure I'm not going to hell if I just try to do my duty and try to serve God as the Church always taught us to do. Hidden knowledge isn't God's way and when wiser and more holy men than I say he's the Pope then l believe them - obedience before understanding.

If it ended up he wasn't valid for whatever reason I wouldn't have lost any sleep over it either way.

Nobody listens anyway when I talk about basic errors like saying Francis is in heaven, and those are concrete, undeniable errors as far as I can see. I'm talking about real people in the world.

The worst thing we can individually do is to not continuously grow in virtue and root out our own predominant faults, one after the other. I don't need to know who is Pope to do that, I see it as a distraction to neuter people because they waste their time on intrigues and know they aren't overcoming some vice.

That's what I've observed anyway. I only go with what is objectively true to my limited understanding but when something strikes me as discordant it has never been wrong that I remember.

When one has every reason to know better, as the papal claimants connected to Vatican II have abundantly given us, then obedience to a false pope is a catastrophe leading to everlasting hell.

Via their invalidity these men have led/are leading countless millions of souls to eternal hell. Your claim that even if you knew this, you wouldn't lose any sleep over it, is a stunningly callous admission. How is it that you have no love for souls?

Also, it's kind of absurd to have a go at someone who manages to find themself here in this space through their own path of questioning. More flies with honey than vinegar is a good saying to pay heed to, otherwise it demonstrates a narrow perception that isn't actually virtuous, just righteous and that pushes people away. I know because that has been my habitual disposition and nobody listens to you except maybe a select few who share your specific view but such people generally have high blood pressure.

No, I just don't trust myself enough to arrogate to myself the power to depose or raise up Popes according to my limited understanding. What are you going to change about the way you live your life whether the Pope is the Pope or not?

You don't even know if any priest is offering the Mass validly or not, you live by trust and faith and working yourself up in knots and displaying your lack of peace like the fate of the world depends on your own comprehension. That appears to be not humility.

Anyway, I know the world is full of retarded people, I'll just read St Catherine of Sienna for my viewpoint.
