I'm sure someone else has already mentioned this, here or on other sede-substacks, but FWIW, I offer the following observation:

If "Rome considers acceptance of Vatican II a defining test of communion", then doesn't that imply that (non-SSPX) NO parishioners who do not accept V2 simpliciter are also excommunicated?

While the Vatican hasn't played this card explicitly yet, it seems to me that Rome is not-so-subtly warning the regular NO pew-sitters against having a bit too much to think.

Who knows? Maybe we'll see an "Oath Against Traditionalism" to flush out the troublemakers.

If all suicides go to Heaven, then the states that have legalized assisted suicide are perhaps responsible for saving more souls than is the Catholic Church. Likewise (and this is a touchy subject). if aborted babies go to Heaven and not Limbo, then Planned Parenthood has gotten a lot more souls into Heaven than the Church in the last few decades.
