The Vatican should be called the vatican't, because it is unable or unwilling to be the bride of Christ. Shame on it.

"Write your dioceses and the USCCB and demand the obvious."

That would probably do as much good as writing to a dead person. Your diocese and the USCCB are part of the Great Apostasy. They and Rome together.

I complained to the diocese once. It went just like you’d think. Karen the Superintendent expressed empathy and outrage at the problem I reported. Then she notified everybody involved so they could circle their wagons around the no-show Spanish teacher and protect him from repercussions of his derelictions. We withdrew our kid from the school. A year later they made Mr. No-show the vice principal.

One day we must all collaborate and share stories.

So very true. So very sad.

I can’t cheer Pope Leo on Elon Musk for two reasons 1) it is not morally brave, Musk is an outsider, a misfit, he is the Loki of the globalist oligarchy and they don’t like him, attacking him makes Leo even more of a globalist shill, he’s just doing what they want 2) it is based on a fundamental misunderstanding of what causes wealth inequality spiritually. The cause is idolatry by humans of humans. It is the same cause as what causes sexual deviance etc etc. Leo leaves that untouched so again he is being a shill because rather than exposing the works of Satan he is pointing to the symptoms of the core evil and leaving the core evil unbothered. His comments could be made by any mildly abrasive Labour MP or for a US audience, Democrat

"...a Church that hides behind 'process'.”

Process for what? Process to find the truth? Of course not. The truth has been handed down to us from the Apostles. The process for that ended with the death of the last Apostle. The process going on now through synodality is a process of dismantling the truths of the faith, by subjecting the truths to dissection and 'correction', diocese by diocese, one at a time, eviscerating both truth and common unity in truth.

"If Augustine were alive today, he would not recognize this Church. He would see pastors courting applause instead of guarding souls, silence where there should be correction, and indifference where there should be zeal. He would weep — not for the world, but for Rome."

If any of the true saints and true popes were alive today, and all of those who gave up their lives for the true faith were alive today, they would be weeping for all of the souls who have been deceived by the lies of these wolves in sheep's clothing.

I don’t see how Francis could have been nor how Leo 14 could be the Pope; neither seem Catholic. Vatican 2 is excrement and should be abrogated. James Martin SJ should be publicly recognized by every Bishop as excommunicate; he, McElroy, Cupich, Tobin of Jersey, and so many others are pimps.

Elaine's avatar

Well John, you are correct that neither Francis nor Leo 14 could be the pope - not that neither seem Catholic but obviously not Catholic.

Frank Hannon's avatar

I resent your comparison of our bishops to pimps; the latter deserve far better.

My sense is that the Vatican will be vacant in the not too distant future. We may live to see it - the chastisement, the Angelic Pontiff and the rebirth of Christian Europe.

Yet more filth and bile coming from the antipope and his antichurch. Every Novus Ordo “Catholic” should leave the antichurch now! Find a Sedevacantist chapel and start going. Don’t look back.

"Leo also found time to lament CEO pay and to swipe at Elon Musk’s compensation."

Is Prevost against the existence of wealth? Or is his concern who controls it? As to the latter, wealth is going to be controlled by government or by private individuals or both. When wealth is controlled by private individuals everyone is better off more often than not. Should people own their own homes or should everyone rent from the government? Is Prevost siding with the 'you will own nothing and you will like it' crowd?

Having the government control all the wealth is an attribute of communism. And with communism there will with time be less and less wealth to be controlled.

Everything the satan worshipping marxists in the world and in the ape of the church do is an insult to God. Even their so-called "rainbow" flag is an insult as it only contains 6 colors, not the 7 as does God's true rainbow.

Thank you for commending Augustin ..

For quite some time I could not abide even his name ( long story).

Michael Matt, God love him, who has done tremendous good for traditionalism, lately yammered on embarrassingly in defense of Leo about Leo handing on what he has received, notwithstanding Leo's admitted damaging actions, this being in the context of Matt's intellectually insulting "Wait and see" argument. It is unfortunately very hard to see how, sooner or later, he will not have to capitulate to, well, the already obvious, but he's not exactly doing good for his credibility in the interim.

Francisca's avatar

Did he say from whom Leo had received whatever it was? Serious question - did he mean the Faith (difficult to imagine!) or a legacy from Francis?

Jayme's avatar

Is there a single soul in Rome that even knows the faith? Much less convicted in it? And even less possessing the fortitude and courage to live it? Besides Vigano that is.

Do U remember about the 'deal' Christ made with the devil..the devil asked for another 100 yrs and he could destroy Christs' Church.. and Christ granted the devil the 100 yrs..2029 will be 100 yrs..
