John-Henry Westen did a nice summarizing video on LifeSite entitled the SSPX Answers Objections: Obedience? Schism? Sin?. Whatever you may think of their not being sede, their response to Rome and Trad Inc. is very convincing. To those lost in the overgrowth of Vatican II seeds become dense weeds, perhaps it will help them recognize the wheat and prevent them becoming chaff. Or not.
You nailed it. Hopefully, others see the 'spin' of the Trad Inc. talking heads. If they don't, hopefully they'll hear your song showing the hypocrisy of one of them. Truly, I've been shocked by those who I have always respected and their gaslighting regarding the SSPX. I keep wondering if they all have one thing in common like in The Lord of the Rings..'one ring to rule them all'! Money is obvious as some have many kids. T
The Latin Mass is good and a proper disposition before our Lord with beautiful worship but without the fullness of Truth, it too becomes complicit and condemns as silence is complicity. There is a reason we have both the Liturgy of the Word and the Liturgy of the Eucharist. If the full Truth is not taught by the priest is he a true spiritual father or a company man? If a company man, ultimately, the faithful become company laity following the example of their pastors, who are silent which is essence putting the light of the gospel under a bushel basket!
The mass is a sending out...we in our own sphere are to live Christ in our lives and enlighten others with Christ's saving message. If the faithful only hear half the truth, well, half the truth is lived. If the faithful see fearless bishops and priests speaking the Truth, they too will be more likely to speak the Truth knowing they will be backed up by their leaders. We've been taught where there is fear, there is not love. 1John 4:18,
"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love." True love of God inspires the Truth to be proclaimed with no care of reprisals, persecution, cancellation, torture or death. Losing money seems to be the biggest stumbling block and why Jesus said, "You can't serve God and Mammon." UGH!
I'm mildly disappointed because when I saw the title, I thought the song would be to the tune of Burn Baby Burn (Disco Inferno). TM even kind of looks like a younger John Travolta! 🕺
This is hysterical because it's true and amazingly funny. It's in the musical cadence of an American Civil War marching song, and I had to download it to hear on my sound system (yes, IT'S that FUNNY). GREAT JOB... You should do a parody of the old Sonny & Cher hit "The Beat Goes On" and call it "The Grift Goes On."
