Modernism gets promoted as “the path,” Germany locks the tabernacles and lists the properties, Advent becomes a therapeutic press release, and Rome runs a consistory like a workshop
Chris Jackson nails it again - as we move into 2026!
In his 1861 work "The Present Crisis of the Holy See," Cardinal Henry Edward Manning prophesied that during the Great Apostasy [which begins at the "top" as Our Lady warned at Fatima], the Catholic Church would enter a period of such intense persecution [including persecution from within] that it would appear to have vanished.
He described a situation where the [true] Church would be driven into a "wilderness" and become invisible to the world. The Church shall be "scattered" and for a time - "invisible, hidden in catacombs, in dens, in mountains, in lurking places".
Cardinal Manning noted that "for a time it shall be swept, as it were, from the face of the earth," aligning with the testimony he attributed to the early Church Fathers.
He even cited a unanimous belief among Church Fathers that the [true] "Holy Sacrifice of the altar will cease."
Pray to Our Lady, Who is Mediatrix of All Graces and Co-Redemptrix, that you will have the Grace and Fortitude to endure -- and be a "foot-soldier" in the Triumph of Her Immaculate Heart on the other side of this disaster we are now living through -
Chris Jackson is a one-man dynamo providing more information on the Church today than all of Trad, Inc. So I hate to even ask for this one little favor. Please put captions on the photos. Who is the chud in the hard hat, or the hippie with the canvas bag at her feet?
Thank you for the compliment. However, since Trad Inc. provides hardly any helpful information about the current crisis, they are not a high hurdle for me to surpass. It’s sad.
For instance, Professor K is currently hyping a 900 page book about Francis. Yes, Francis. The guy who is not even in charge right now. Yet Leo is doubling down on everything Francis did and not a peep about Leo. It’s absolutely criminal at this point in my opinion not to speak out.
Other traditional commentators think that they are political oracles and are busy constantly analyzing geopolitics while keeping silence about Leo. It’s incredible.
After reading this piece, I wrote a brief but vitriolic attack on Leo and his recent outrages, but deleted it. I didn't want to pollute your comments space. I thought I saw it all under Francis. I've moved on from Trad, Inc., but now I am starting to lose all respect for good priests I know and priests in general. Where are the men in the clergy, at any level? The pretending has to stop.
Currently reading the Dialogue of St. Catherine of Siena, section on our reverence due to His ministers i.e. priests, even the bad ones, and the true love/compassion due to our worst enemies, as God is permitting them to try to test us and their souls are at stake as well. However, that does not mean we stop defending the faith or opposing the freemasonic marxist homosexuals who have deliberately infiltrated the Church to do her harm. Continue to call them out while keeping them in your prayers.
The photos are tied to who the article is about. So the bishop in the hard hat is the bishop who wrote the advent reflection. The hippie is Sister Brambilla.
When you appoint a woman to manage priests, this worldly anti-patriarchy statement was inevitable, expected, planned.
I read a private revelation about 6 months ago in relation to Apostasy rising in Rome expressing “Adam will listen to Eve”
Feminism has been so destructive, more than most can recognise, fewer can fathom the full extent of its impact on humanity.
I recently welcomed a tilma of Our Lady of Guadalupe in to my prayer room, so it brings me extreme frustration to read how feminists carve out deceptive ecumenical outreach targeting groups who should be only offered the Truth of Christ, yet they are fed this diabolical nonsense
Where are the hierarchy? If there was a need for faithful patriarchal zeal, to set the Catholic landscape straight, it’s needed right now!
All faithful prelates & paternal fathers need to put their masculine foot down so to speak, to ensure those under their protection and guidance, need to take action to ensure they are not led astray by figures that evidently are not even Christian, let alone faithful Catholics
The hierarchy is holding meetings at a 5-star Marriott in the inner harbor of Baltimore. I suggest they take their meetings at a run-down hotel near the beautiful National Shrine of St. Alphonsus Liguori. So they can feel "closeness" with the down-trodden that they claim to love.
Don’t hold your breath that the hierarchy will do anything. It has been trending thus since the second day of the council when they threw out the schemas. Read the signs of the times. The institutional church has followed the Israelites into idolatry. It didn’t end well for the Hebrews and it won’t end well for those following this crowd of false shepherds either. Hunker down. We are in times not unlike England under Henry VIII, and during the Arian crisis, only this time it is worse. It’s a great time to stay faithful and become a saint.
Always dangerous to make an all inclusive statement like that. My bad. Words and phrases like misogynistic and toxic masculinity have done much to make many men afraid of being labeled, essentially castrating them and deterring them from their God-given role.
Excellent post, Magdalene! I understand about the blood pressure rising. So does mine when trying to talk to my daughter, who long ago left the Church because she didn't like what it taught (well before Francis) and now parrots the deception being given us. It breaks my heart because she's passing this indifferentism onto her children, my beloved grandchildren, whom I'm trying to teach the true Catechism. But all they have to do is go to her and say I'm trying to force my religion on them and all hell breaks loose, literally. They're still little, under the age of 13, but tainted by what they learn in public school. But I try. All I can do is pray, pray, pray although sometimes I get so discouraged I can barely eke out a Hail Mary. But you are so right. "...those of us who have learned the true faith must cling to it, live it, and spread it as best as God‘s grace will have us do. And to aid us in this task, we look to our Lady the Mediatrix of all graces. Ave Maria!" Hallelujah!
Oh, yes, Pope Pius X warned that Modernism was the synthesis of all heresies, and: “were one to attempt the task of collecting together all the errors that have been broached against the faith and to concentrate the sap and substance of them all into one, he could not better succeed than the Modernists have done. Nay, they have done more than this, for, as we have already intimated, their system means the destruction not of the Catholic religion alone but of all religion.[…] The first step in this direction was taken by Protestantism; the second is made by Modernism; the next will plunge headlong into Atheism. (Pascendi Dominici Gregis, no. 39)
Warned again, by Saint John Henry Newman, in his “Biglietto Speech”: Liberalism in religion is the doctrine that there is no positive truth in religion, that one creed is as good as another, and this is the teaching which is gaining substance and force daily. It is inconsistent with any recognition of any religion as True. It teaches that all are to be tolerated, for all are matters of opinion. Revealed religion is not a truth, but a sentiment and a taste; not an objective fact, not miraculous; and it is the right of each individual to make it say just what strikes his fancy (65).
Doctor Saint Newman is describing everything “Leo XVI” to you, if your eyes are open. Pope Pius X is also telling you this is the pathway to atheism.
We cannot stay silent in the face of the cancerous malignancy that has metastasized to our Church hierarchy since Vatican II. If we do, we walk away knowing our true Catholic Church will become the underground Church and the Roman Catholic Church, just another Protestant Church.
Thank you for this, and “thanks” for taking me back to the 1980’s seminary experience. I came onboard to the priesthood with all the hopes of other young priests under Pope John Paul II/Ratzinger. Our mutual hope, was that the church had turned a corner after the modernist took over with its ’Spirit of Vatican II’ in the late 60’s and the 70’s. Our hope was that a new vanguard of orthodox priests were coming up the pipe line but after a while we realized that JPII didn’t clean out the sewer and in fact, kept appointing heterodox and homosexualist as bishops. We NEVER envisioned a pope like Francis and now Francis 2.0. I said early in Francis’ tenure that the church has entered a 100 year period of overt modernism. Only 80 some more years to go.
I had two liberal nuns who were professors at two major seminaries I attended in the 80’s. Back then, everything had to be written and spoke of in inclusive language. If one did not do this, the professor and the formation team would castigate you for not being pastoral and compassionate. What rubbish.
When will the promised Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary come?
The 2000-year Jubilee of the Resurrection of Christ will be circa 2031. (Because of calendar errors made in the past, current scholarship places Our Lord's birth at around 6 to 2 BC. This could put His Resurrection at circa 31 A.D.)
How fitting for the Church to have her own manner of resurrection on the 2,000 Jubilee of Christ’s Resurrection, in 2031 A.D.
2031 is also the 500 Jubilee of the apparition of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Soon after she appeared to Juan Diego in 1531 with the miracle of her tilma image, she converted eight million Mexicans to the Catholic faith. This was the largest conversion in the history of the Church.
Finally, one of Padre Pio's friends (who is still alive today), relates the following in a book recently published in Italy:
In 1963 or 1964 Padre Pio reportedly was speaking to his spiritual sons. Padre Pio said their own children there, who were then approximately 10 years old, would live to see the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart.
Those children would be 77 to 78 years old in 2031.
Two years prior to 2031 is June 13, 2029 - the 100-yr anniv of Our Lady's request for the consecration of Russia. One can wonder how that fits in there.
This reminds me of my years working inside a huge corporation where we were told repeatedly that change is good and never ending. Of course the changes promised things like fairness and equality that meant new programs were to be implemented that in fact reduced fairness and equality in the workplace. This corporate-sponsored alchemy which I lived through is a reflection of the Vatican’s efforts to morph the Catholic religion into the managerial system that Mr. Jackson has called out. It’s quite alarming to contemplate what internalized feminism will do to the church. Justice will be drowned out by a false mercy. Mercy will become a set of rules and narrow conditions which will have negative consequences if not adhered to.
Thanks again, Chris. One factor which you do not mention in the report on the German Church is the Church Tax. Which is around 6 billion euros per year. This looks like both blessing and curse. The steady flow of money may delay the final collapse, but it ensures long term complacency and materialism.
With the percentage of practising Catholics being so low, how long can this tax survive politically? I understand that it dates back to the 19th century as compensation for confiscation of Church lands. And I suspect that the German Bishops have any number of cunning lawyers ready to quote historical precedents and ancient laws.
But if a political initiative to abandon the tax gains momentum, will secularised politicians care a fig? Especially if the German intelligence services know about the Bishops' pelvic urges. As Gene Gomulka noted in a recent Substack post, how many senior clergy are wide open to blackmail?
The Church tax is definitely a curse. You can only avoid it by apostasy. If you stay Catholic you are funding all manner of abomination. Would not want to be German today.
Professor Marcin is a wonderful scholarly gentleman. His posts are always on the Remnent. I agree with him completely that the vat 2 church is not functioning as catholic. To be honest, it hasn't in 60yrs. It on its way to being completely annihilated . I believe that this was deliberate by a masonic takeover of the vatican. How God will intervene is a mystery. We must keep the true faith irregardless.
I love how your article puts all these seemingly unconnected events together into a coherent narrative on the present mindset and apostasy of the hierarchy.
Looks to me that this proves unequivocally that the Catholic church no longer exists in Rome nor in the buildings around the world where the evils of VII are forced on the people. Time to cry out as the Apostles were shown to have done in Luke's gospel. If not, the stones themselves will cry out against the unending abomination that is the V-II ape of the church.
Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, ora pro nobis peccatoribus.
I suspect more than one Cardinal will be struggling with their ecological conversion process as they board another flight to another workshop on the other side of the globe. No doubt the Vatican will have the requisite carbon footprint tracking in place for full disclosure in the final report.

Men have forgotten how to be men.
Many, but not all.
In Hoc Signo Vinces!
Always dangerous to make an all inclusive statement like that. My bad. Words and phrases like misogynistic and toxic masculinity have done much to make many men afraid of being labeled, essentially castrating them and deterring them from their God-given role.
Many men have, (many) young men are remembering.
Most of the priests at present are so highly feminized that a woman 'managing' them is exactly what they deserve. I won't shed a tear.
Maybe try telling your aunt that Jesus does not have two mothers. His only mother is Mary.
And that the prayer Jesus taught us is the Our Father. Not the Our Mother.

What is the title of that book? And/or who is the author? I wish to read it. Thank you. (I realize it is probably in Italian).
I expect it is this one, but I do not know:

"Il trionfo del Cuore Immacolato: profezie mariane sulla fine dei tempi", (Italian Edition) Paperback – March 18, 2024
Italian Edition by Maria Giobbe (Author)
Maybe also inquire at this site:

Great work!
Suicide on the installment plan
The body of Christ was entombed after the crucifixion.
The Mystical Body of Christ on Earth seems as alive as was his mortal body in that tomb.
And, maybe it is.
He is Risen. He has won.
God has blessed Chris Jackson with a pen to tell it like it is.
The embers remain. We gather in the modern catacombs with lamps full, awaiting His return.

"And the world awoke and groaned to find itself feminist." (With apologies to St. Jerome, who undoubtedly would agree)
St Athanasius also.
Leo’s nun (none) in charge…
