In the Philippines, a Discalced Augustinian priest, Fr. Libby Daños, was suspended after blessing a Masonic marker in public. The images went viral, the faithful were scandalized, and the order scrambled to issue statements about “formation programs” and “discernment.”

What no one dared say aloud: this is the rotten fruit of a Church that has spent sixty years erasing the line between Catholicism and the world. When Nostra Aetate and Dignitatis Humanae taught that every religion has “rays of truth,” did anyone think Freemasonry wouldn’t try to squeeze under the umbrella? This is what passes for governance in Leo XIV’s Rome. The holiest basilica in Christendom is profaned by rainbow propaganda, and the Vatican refuses responsibility. Instead, it points journalists toward Tenda di Gionata, the activist group invited under the pretext of “Jubilee logistics.” The shepherds not only fail to guard the sheep, they hand over the keys to the wolves and say, “Take it up with them.”

Leo’s Appointment: A Blasphemer at the Pantheon

On September 6, Leo XIV appointed Cristiana Perrella as president of the Pontifical Academy of Fine Arts and Letters. Her résumé reads like a checklist of anti-Catholic activism: feminist exhibitions praising abortion, homosexual propaganda, pornographic imagery, and even an installation declaring “God is Man Made.”

This is calculated desecration. The oldest pontifical academy, founded to elevate art toward the sacred, is now headed by a woman who denies God, celebrates vice, and promotes queer ideology. Perrella openly praises trans-feminist philosopher Rosi Braidotti, who preaches the “nomadic subject,” man without essence, gender without limit, identity without soul. And Rome applauds.

The message is clear: sacred art must now serve the revolution.

China: Redrawing Dioceses for Caesar

Meanwhile, the Vatican announced Leo XIV’s approval of suppressing two Chinese dioceses and erecting a new one in Zhangjiakou, fully aligned with Communist civil boundaries. For the first time, Rome and Beijing openly cooperated not only in bishop appointments but in restructuring the Church’s very map.

The excuse? “Diocesan borders should match civil ones.” The reality? The Mystical Body of Christ is being reconfigured to fit the Party-State. What began with the disgraceful Vatican-China deal under Francis is now solidifying: diocesan boundaries redrawn by communists, bishops approved only with the state’s blessing, underground clergy abandoned.

The Church that once produced martyrs to resist Caesar now produces bureaucrats to serve him.

Laudato Si’ at Castel Gandolfo: Nature as the New Gospel

At Castel Gandolfo, the Vatican hosted young artists for an “Earth Partners Prize” exhibition under the banner of Laudato si’. Instead of salvation, they offer “calm and depth” through environmental art. Instead of the Cross, they give us climate resilience. Instead of eternal life, they speak of “integral ecology.”

Cardinal Baggio was explicit: the Gospel is no longer about saving souls but “integral salvation,” a euphemism that subsumes the supernatural into the merely natural. It is Teilhard de Chardin’s cosmic Christ all over again: a faith that ends not in heaven but in recycling bins.

Hollerich’s Wide Road

Cardinal Jean-Claude Hollerich, architect of the Synod on Synodality, gave another interview insisting he “would not define sexual morality so narrowly as the Church does today.” Translation: fornication, sodomy, and adultery are no longer sins but lifestyles to be discerned.

Hollerich praises “the tent” as the Church’s model, ever-expanding, never exclusive, always accommodating. Africans, to their credit, rejected the image because tents remind them of refugee camps. But Rome presses on: the Church must be a carnival big-top where every perversion has a place, so long as the “synodal process” is obeyed.

Conclusion: The Revolution Rolls On

One week: a priest blesses Masonry, the Vatican deflects responsibility for sodomitical profanation, Leo appoints a blasphemer to a pontifical academy, Rome redraws China’s dioceses to please Communists, Laudato si’ replaces the Cross at Castel Gandolfo, and Hollerich dismantles Catholic morality with a smile.

These are facets of a single project: replacing the supernatural Church of Christ with a naturalistic NGO that blesses enemies, promotes vice, and preaches ecology instead of salvation.

The only consolation is that such a Church cannot endure. The gates of hell will not prevail, but they will test the faithful. And Rome, once the bulwark of orthodoxy, has become the test itself.
