Dear God, this is so depressing. Satan is certainly running things right now. Disordered behavior and apostasy abound in His church. What is a Catholic to do ?

St. T... Yes, this is depressing and at the same time, the faithful Roman Catholics must continue to pray, pray and pray.... We are seeing their "New Church" and "New Religion" on steroids... but what is a Catholic to do... be faithful to the Truth, be faithful to Holy Mother the Church and not this new garbage that developed at the Second Vatican Council.. and pray! We must pray the rosary daily, do Penance and Sacrifice for Our Lord and His Church... God bless and keep you and your loved ones safe..

At what point, however, does staying in such an apostate Church risk peril to one’s own soul?

This disordered behavior and apostasy abound not in Christ's church but in the Vatican II counter-church which Satan is indeed running through his human agents, the true Church being independent of apostate Rome, adhering to all Catholic Tradition in doctrine, worship, sacramental rites, laws & discipline.

novusordowatch.org

This is foretold in prophesy, including the REAL & suppressed Third Secret of Fatima. Cardinal Mario Ciappi, who read the Third Secret, said, "In the Third Secret it is revealed, among other things, that the Great Apostasy in the Church will begin at the top" (letter to Prof. Baumgartner, 1995), i.e., the papacy, which we can be certain means John XXIII & his successors, allowing the counterfeit, Masonic-inspired Vatican II church to be created, with new doctrines, laws & disciplines, new supernaturally gutted Mass, several invalid sacramental rites, leading to the exodus of many millions of Catholics & tens of thousands of priests & religious. It was & still is an unprecedented revolution in the Church, or rather, newly created counter-church. We are in the time of the long prophesied Great Apostasy.

So well stated,ty!

At first, such seems so Catastrophic as to be outside of belief. Yet as you said this situation(60 years +) has been God’s plan from all time. It certainly presents an extreme challenge for those committed to faithful devotion to our Catholic Faith.

When we say "God's plan," even though God has one will, it can be understood by us as active will & permissive will. God doesn't actively will this Great Apostasy but He permits it as a punishment for sin, to purify the elect & bring about a greater good, all for His glory.

I see the Great Apostasy beginning in earnest here:

Oh, God’s active will and passive will presents a clearer understanding of God’s will. It’s a consequence of mankind’s behavior and how mankind chooses to express his free will. If that’s correct?

In Australia it is the feast of the Assumption of Our Lady. It’s a 1st for me ( in full understanding ).

Regarding what we can do . Do you have any thoughts on how we might insist… that the wishes of our Lady to the children of Fatima - be carried out ?

I am very new to understanding what it means to love Her.

This requires true devotion. An old friend of mine is a Catholic priest, a faithful and holy priest. He told me it changed his life. God willing, I will do it this year in November and December. This is the book I will use:

I too would like to thank Chris Jackson for his industry in exposing the evils, hypocricies and relentless soto-voce (often not so soto-voce) nastiness of 'conciliar-synodal' church apologists and prelates.

Like others here, I used to be an admirer of Cardinal Burk but intermittent research over the past couple of years have forced a serious revision. My 'watershed moment' was an article by Alistair McFadden: https://tinyurl.com/mwvp3y8b . It is very long but, IMHO, well worth reading in full. The section concerning Cdl Burk is: 'Part IV: Kabbalah for Catholics? “Hebrew Catholics” and Their Cardinal'. It is a shocking eye-opener about Cdl Burk and the depths to which he and the 'conciliar church' hierarchy have sunk in thrall to the most avowed and dangerous enemies of Holy Mother Church.

Wolves, or lambs to the slaughter? I don't know; but I do know they are in grave need of our prayers

Alastair McFadden's fascinating monograph is all the more revealing as it shows "traditional" and allegedly very well informed Catholics involved in utterly bizarre beliefs and practices, such as Tarot card readings.

It was outside the range of normal imagination. You would sooner have suspected them of cannibalism or worshipping Zeus. How on earth did these guys (it is nearly always blokes) slide into these dark places? Valentin Tomberg seems to be a guru for these people, despite his huge tome "Meditations on the Tarot" preaching reincarnation, astral bodies, the Luminous Holy Trinity and much more.

Little by little, the younger générations will learn a modernist rewritten catechism mixed with activist propaganda and the truth will vanish. As they play the long game, if you proceed by little changes here and there you will wake up one day reciting marxist propaganda and asking yourself about the meaning of your life which was explained in the true Gospel that will not exist any more by then.

My wife & I were about to go fully with SSPX because of the initiative of an SSPX who had a group of college students that would come to an established SSPX chapel, and they asked if the SSPX could come to Chattanooga to establish a chapel. Despite enthusiastic support for it, when the prior was sent after about a year to assess the situation, they found everybody rejected Bergoglio as pope & they were playing footsie with the local episkopos & in keeping with their new appeasement policies, fobbed us off with an excuse for not doing it (the diocese had a TLM).

Wow! I am not surprised. The Society has compromised on all the post-Vatican II issues including the acceptance of the Novus Ordo. Lefebvre should have listened to the priests he expelled from the Society years ago. That was the Archbishop’s fatal flaw. Now, the SSPX is in a downward spiral to oblivion.

I’ve long had suspicions about Burke ever since he was the archbishop of St. Louis and tried to finagle the funds of a Polish Catholic parish into the archdiocesan treasury. Too many Catholics are taken in by traditionalist façades. They refuse to do any research on these people. Instead, they fall all over such figures, giving them honor and praise because the people doing so are so desperate for leadership.

This is the logical consequence of Catholicism’s tendency to foster codependency in the faithful toward clerics.

The SSPX seem practically to be seeking to sever from the True Vine and graft on to the evil V2 tree. If you are on the V2 tree you have left the True Vine. Kyrie eleison.

What makes you think that? Chris keeps talking about their countless compromises, but never actually mentions what they are. The Vatican putting them on a calendar isn't compromise - it's not even an action the SSPX took at all.

Why are you holding the SSPX accountable for things the Vatican did?

It is worth noting section 4 of "Chastity, Marriage, the Family and Virginity".

https://unamsanctamcatholicam.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/07/Chastity-Marriage-Family-Virginity.pdf

This was one of the discarded schemas of Vatican II. So it was never voted on, but it was plainly years ahead of its time.

"Man not the Absolute Lord of the Body

It should be noted that God alone is the absolute lord of man's life and of its integrity, particularly with respect to what makes man naturally capable of and associates him with God in the propagation of human life.

Attempts to change one's sex, therefore, when this is sufficiently determined, are wicked; nor is it allowed, in order to save the health of the whole man, to mutilate

his genital organs or to render them infertile, if there are other ways to provide for his health.

Nor in any case is or can there be a right to transplant into the human body the sexual organs of animals

which produce the germinative cells of their own genus, or vice-versa;

nor also to try to unite the

human germ cells of each sex in a laboratory, even if this is done without violating modesty......."

Looking at the surprisingly long and grim history of gender affirming surgery, you might have thought most people would have already been sufficiently persuaded.

Maybe the word “Burke” itself may become a double entendre or euphemism to describe the cloaking measures he has obviously undergone during the lead up to the anticipated & planned Bergoglio Prevost era?

I certainly didn’t know of this historical scandal, but I did had my doubts about +Burke when he evidently didn’t run with Cardinal Pell against the ominous direction of the Synodal pathway back in 2014 & 2015, even though prominent US Catholic media at the time portrayed him as the bees knees of Catholic Tradition & morality

There’s nothing to be discouraged about. Read Chris’s articles. He’s constantly talking about the SSPX compromises but never actually says what they’ve compromised on…always vague hand waving and implications, but never any actual evidence.

They’re carrying on the same mission they always have, and you can feel safe there. Being listed on a calendar isn't "compromise".

Since the Dubia were never answered by Francis, why doesn’t Cardinal Burke just dust them off and send them to Lefty Leo? It would be a good test whether Leo is Francis 2.0 and ignores them, or shows some semblance of respect for his hierarchy and answers them, which is what they deserve.

The apostasy didn't begin with Francis, he was just the most obvious. Before the internet we didn't get much unbiased info on "Saint" Paul VI, but he is responsible for most of the spiritual destruction we see in the V2 church.

Why would anyone go to a Novus Ordo mass much less give them money? I guess even sacrificing children at the alter won’t deter the dead-enders.

The NO false religion will not even defend the unborn without including the monsters on death row alongside the innocents, as if Ted Bundy or Danny Rolling, is no different than innocent victims. And I have yet to hear a single Florida bishop express a scintilla of sympathy for murder victims and their families.

But illegal aliens who commit horrific rapes? Or murderers on death row?

All mercy for them, but no justice for the true victims.

It’s not just a false religion; it is repulsive.
