Have a great rest, Chris. Barring divine intervention, the countless idiocies and blasphemies will still be there for intelligent comment on 20th August.

Rest..it is right and fitting...our Blessed Lord focuses a lot on resting your mind, heart, and soul through faith. We are 'between acts.'

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest"

Funny.

I routinely have a set of prayers that I off before Mass for myself, family, the papacy and priests, souls in purgatory, and the conversion of relatively virtuous secular cultural lions into little Pauls.

Today I threw in a prayer for Jackson, that all is well with him and his loved ones.

Heh, the prayer came pre-answered, apparently.

Now, about those other prayers....
